How do billing and renewals work?

You’re charged on the renewal date you set. We roast to order and hand off to the carrier promptly; you’ll receive a tracking link once it ships.

Can I pause, skip, or cancel anytime?

Yes. You can pause, skip a shipment, change frequency, or cancel anytime from your account.

Do you offer whole bean and ground options?

Yes—choose whole bean for maximum freshness or select a grind that fits your brew method.

Can I choose which coffees I receive?

Absolutely. Pick specific single origins or select Roaster’s Choice for curated seasonal selections.

Do you have a decaf subscription option?

Yes—our Triunfo Verde (Mountain Water Process) decaf is available on subscription for full flavor without the caffeine.

How fresh is the coffee when it ships?

Every bag is roasted to order in Chicago and packed immediately to lock in freshness.

What bag sizes are available?

Most subscriptions ship as a 12 oz bag. Larger bags available -just send us an email.

Do you ship only in Chicago or nationwide?

We ship from Chicago and serve customers nationwide. Chicago-area orders typically see the fastest delivery times depending on the carrier.

How does it work?

We roast fresh weekly and ship automatically.

Can I change or cancel anytime?

Yes. Use your customer portal to pause, skip, change frequency, update address or payment, or cancel. No hidden fees.

When will my coffee ship?

We roast and fulfill subscriptions Monday–Wednesday. First orders ship within 2–3 business days; future orders follow your chosen interval.

Can I switch what I receive?

Roaster’s Choice rotates monthly. For Dark Roast or Decaf, email support@doctopuscoffee.com before your next renewal and we’ll switch the roast.

Yes! Prepay 3 or 6 months or mark your order as a gift at checkout. Recipients get a message and a link to manage deliveries. (You can also feel free to just email us and we'll get you set up!)
