We are a local specialty coffee roaster based in Madison, WI (run by a coffee obsessed MD -the doc in Doctopus) specializing in delicious single-origin coffees responsibly sourced from small farmers across the globe.

We source from seasonal harvests, focusing on sustainable farming practiced by local growers and co-ops who re-invest in families, education, quality, and the special climates that these coffees come from.

Our coffees are painstakingly sourced from local on-the-ground buyers who have developed relationships with individual farmers and farmer-focused co-ops who have a love for growing coffee and who are dedicated artisans at processing raw coffee, shipped fresh to the US. Farmers are often paid greater than market rate in order to develop area youth, divert from production of coca (cocaine trade), protect ecological preserves, grow native bird-friendly habitats, and promote women producers, among other social initiatives.

These fresh coffees are then roasted with great care, passion, and respect for these farmer's hard work at producing the highest quality coffees in the world. Exacting standards ensure that not only is the effort that went into the raw coffee respected, but that that hard work is showcased through careful, hand-crafted but clinically strict roasting methods to produce the freshest, most delicious coffee available for you to take home to enjoy and to share with family and friends.
