We’re a small-batch specialty coffee roaster based in Chicago, IL, founded by a coffee-obsessed MD (the “doc” in Doctopus). Our passion is sourcing and roasting single origin coffee beans that celebrate the hard work of farmers around the world.

We focus on freshly roasted coffee beans from seasonal harvests, chosen for their quality and sustainability. Each lot comes from growers and co-ops who reinvest in their families, communities, and environments. Sourcing

Our coffees are sourced through relationships with farmers and fair trade coffee cooperatives. These growers are true artisans, committed to sustainable farming. Many are paid above market rates, helping to fund youth education, protect ecological preserves, promote women producers, and encourage the transition from illicit crops to specialty coffee. We roast in small batches with care and precision, ensuring each origin’s distinct character shines through.
